Terms of Service
Last updated: 16 June 2026
1. Scope
These Terms apply to the use of the Inative Energy website and to preliminary enquiries submitted through it. Any paid work, supplier switching support, consultancy, project coordination, or ongoing service will be governed by the specific written terms agreed for that engagement.
2. Nature of the service
Inative Energy provides practical energy comparison, bill review, tariff optimisation, supplier administration support, solar/self-consumption guidance, and EV charging coordination for clients in Spain.
Unless expressly agreed in writing, Inative Energy is not an energy supplier, distributor, licensed installer, financial adviser, legal adviser, tax adviser, or regulated utility operator.
3. No guarantee of savings or availability
Any estimated saving, tariff comparison, payback period, or optimisation opportunity is based on the information available at the time and on assumptions about consumption, supplier terms, regulated charges, taxes, market prices, and property circumstances.
Actual outcomes may vary. Inative Energy does not guarantee that a supplier will accept an application, keep an offer available, approve a tariff, maintain prices, or achieve a stated saving.
4. Client responsibilities
You are responsible for providing accurate and complete information, reviewing any proposed tariff or supplier documentation before acceptance, ensuring that you are authorised to act for the supply point or property, and making the final decision to proceed with any supplier, installer, or service provider.
5. Third-party suppliers and installers
Where Inative Energy introduces, refers to, or helps coordinate with an energy supplier, distributor, solar installer, EV charging provider, or other third party, the third party remains responsible for its own products, contracts, prices, installation quality, warranties, service levels, and regulatory obligations.
6. Fees and commissions
If a fee, referral commission, supplier commission, installer commission, or other commercial arrangement applies to a specific service, it should be disclosed in the relevant proposal, email, invoice, or service confirmation where required by law or good commercial practice.
7. Website content
Website content is provided for general information only. It may be updated, changed, suspended, or removed without notice. You should not rely on website content alone when making energy, financial, legal, tax, or property decisions.
8. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where exclusion is not permitted by law. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Inative Energy is not liable for indirect loss, loss of profit, loss of opportunity, business interruption, third-party supplier failures, or decisions made by users based only on general website information.
9. Data protection
Personal data is processed as described in the Privacy Policy. By sending a bill or enquiry, you confirm that you have authority to share the information supplied.
10. Applicable law
These Terms are governed by Spanish law. Disputes will be submitted to the courts and tribunals of Murcia, Spain, unless mandatory consumer protection rules require otherwise.
